Ingredients
- 6 -8 slices bread
- 12 eggs, beaten
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup half-and-half cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 14 cup diced green pepper
- 14 cup diced sweet red pepper
- 1 lb crab or 1 lb baby shrimp
- 1 lb swiss cheese, grated
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325f.

2In a greased 9X13 pan, place slices of bread tightly on bottom of pan.

3Beat eggs with the mushroom soup until blended.

4Blend in the half and half cream and seasonings.

5Sprinkle the red and green pepper and the crab or shrimp over the bread.

6Note: you can use crab OR shrimp, or both crab AND shrimp.

7Pour the egg and soup mixture over the bread; sprinkle cheese over the top.

8Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.

9Remove foil and bake another 15 minutes, uncovered.

10Cut into squares to serve.
