4 Large Sweet Apples

Preheat oven to 390°F (200°C) .

Beat the eggs in a large bowl. Add the first amount of sugar and the vanilla sugar and whisk well. Add the flour and baking powder. Stir the batter thoroughly to get rid off floury lumps. Pour half of the batter into a greased 9 inch baking form. Peel the apples, core them and dice them. Put the apple cubes onto the batter in the baking form. In a small bowl mix cinnamon with the second amount of sugar then sprinkle this mixture over the apples. Cover the apples with the rest batter and send the dish to the preheated oven.

Bake at 390°F (200°C) for 20-30 minutes until it gets a golden crust. Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool well before serving.
