Quick Apple Dumplings

  • 2 cooking apples
  • 1 (8 count) can crescent rolls
  • 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Peel apples and cut in quarters.

    Separate rolls and wrap 1 piece of apple in each roll (start at large end).

    Mix oleo, sugar and orange juice in saucepan.

    Bring to a boil.

    Add vanilla. Place dumplings in 8-inch pan (square).

    Pour sauce over apple dumplings and bake in preheated oven at 350° for 30 minutes or until brown.
