- 2 c. dried apricots (uncooked)
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- prepared crust for 2 crust 9-inch pie
Directions

1Put apricots through food chopper.

2Combine fruit, water, sugar, salt, lemon juice and butter.

3Bring to boil; cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

4Prepare pie crust according to directions; pour in filling.

5Cover with strips of pastry.

6Bake in moderately hot oven (425°) for 30 minutes, or until done. Serves 6 to 8.
