- 1 lb. round steak, cubed
- 1 1/2 c. frozen seasonings
- 1 box frozen peas and carrots
- 2 potatoes, cubed
- 2 c. beef broth
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. roux
- 1/2 c. onion tops and parsley
- 3 Tbsp. oil
Directions

1Brown steak in oil.

2Remove and add roux and one cup of water. Add seasonings; cook 10 minutes.

3Put steak back in and add beef broth.

4Cook about one hour.

5Add potatoes and peas and carrots. Cook 1/2 hour.

6Add tops and parsley.

7Serve over grits or rice.
