- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. corn oil
- 2/3 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°.

2Place flour in medium bowl; pour corn oil in measuring cup.

3Add buttermilk, flour and oil to mixture; add all at once, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out on floured surface and knead dough 3 or 4 times. Roll dough to 1/2-inch thick.

4Cut with biscuit cutter, place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet.

5Bake at 425° for 10 to 12 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.

6Yields 1 dozen.
