  • 1 c. Margarine
  • 1 c. Corn syrup
  • 1 x 15 oz. can Condensed milk
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. Salt
  • 2 1/4 c. Brown sugar

Directions

    Melt the butter, stir in the sugar and salt.

    Add syrup and mix well.

    Add the milk, stirring constantly, cook until it reaches 245° on a sugar thermometer.

    Immediately remove from the heat. Add vanilla and pour into a well buttered 9-inch square pan.

    Cut when cool.
