- 1/2 c. margarine or butter
- 1 c. firm packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Melt margarine over low heat for 1 minute.

2Remove and add brown sugar.

3Stir until smooth.

4Boil for 1 minute while stirring.

5Remove from heat.

6Add milk and return to boil for another 1 to 2 minutes.

7Remove from heat and let cool.

8Beat in sugar and vanilla.

9Spread over your favorite cake.
