- 3 3/4 c. flour
- 5 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 2 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Combine dry ingredients; cut butter into flour mixture until mixture is like bread crumbs.

2Stir in cheese.

3In a separate bowl, combine the milk and eggs.

4Add to cheese mixture; mix just until moistened.

5Spoon into greased loaf pan.

6Bake at 375° for 1 hour or until golden brown.

7Recipe can be halved and baking time adjusted.
