- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Directions

1Mix and cream together margarine and sugar.

2Add eggs and almond extract to creamed mixture.

3Mix well.

4Add flour and baking powder.

5Mix until smooth.

6Butter a 13 x 9 x 2-inch cake pan.

7Put cake batter into pan; then drop by spoonfuls the pie mixture evenly over cake.

8Bake at 350° until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

9Dust with powdered sugar.
