  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 to 3 c. any canned or frozen fruit

Directions

    Mix sugar, flour, milk, baking powder and salt.

    Melt margarine in bottom of pan (13 x 9-inch), then pour batter in.

    Pour fruit in center of batter.

    Bake in a 400° oven about 30 minutes.
