  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • fruit

Directions

    Mix together flour, sugar and baking powder.

    Add milk and vanilla.

    Melt margarine in 8 x 8-inch baking dish in oven.

    Pour batter into dish.

    Cover with fruit.

    Bake at 375° until brown. Just before completely brown, dot with margarine and sprinkle with sugar.
