  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 stick oleo
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 qt. fresh or canned fruit

    Sift all dry ingredients together.

    Add milk and beat to make a smooth batter like the consistency of pancake batter.

    Melt oleo in a dish or pan and add fruit.

    Pour batter over fruit and bake 20 to 25 minutes in a 400° to 425° oven.
