- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 stick oleo
- 1 c. milk
- 1 qt. fresh or canned fruit
Directions

1Sift all dry ingredients together.

2Add milk and beat to make a smooth batter like the consistency of pancake batter.

3Melt oleo in a dish or pan and add fruit.

4Pour batter over fruit and bake 20 to 25 minutes in a 400° to 425° oven.

5Serve hot or cold, plain or without whipped cream or ice cream.
