  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 3/4 c. flour (self-rising)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 (No. 2) can fruit

Directions

    Melt butter in baking dish. Sift flour. Add 1 cup sugar and milk.

    Beat well.

    Pour into melted butter. Top with fruit. Sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Serve hot with whipped topping or ice cream. (Best if baking dish is glass at 325°.)
