  • 1 (16 oz.) can cherry or apple pie filling or 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 pkg. white cake mix
  • 1 stick butter or margarine, melted
  • walnuts or pecans, chop enough to cover lightly

    Spread pie filling in bottom of an 8 x 8-inch baking dish.

    Sprinkle with cake mix and drizzle with melted butter.
