- 1 lb. butter or margarine
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 to 3 tsp. baking powder
- dash of salt
- 2/3 c. milk
- 2 1/2 c. sweetened desired fruit
Directions

1Melt butter.

2Mix all other ingredients, except fruit, to make a smooth batter.

3Pour batter over butter; do not stir.

4Add fruit and juice; do not stir.

5Place in 350° oven for about 35 to 40 minutes or until brown.

6Yields 4 to 6 servings.
