- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. milk
- 1 medium can fruit (your choice), plus 1/2 of juice
Directions

1Melt margarine or butter in an 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch baking dish.

2Mix sugar, flour and baking powder together, then add milk.

3Pour this over melted margarine or butter.

4Put fruit and juice over batter.

5Bake at 350° for 1/2 hour, or until golden brown.
