- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 c. fruit
- 2/3 to 3/4 stick oleo
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. flour
- pinch of salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. milk
Directions

1Add 2/3 cup sugar to 2 cups fruit (use any fresh or drained canned fruit or berries).

2Set oven at 350° and put oleo in deep dish, approximately 6 x 10-inches.

3Put in oven to melt.

4Stir up batter of 3/4 cup sugar, 3/4 cup flour, salt, baking powder and milk.

5Pour batter over melted oleo.

6Do not stir.

7Then pour fruit over batter. Bake approximately 1 hour.

8Batter will rise to top.

9Brown and crisp when done.
