- 1 cup Betty Crocker potato buds, dry
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 egg, beaten
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 18 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 12 cups all-purpose flour
Directions

1place potatoes in a medium bowl.

2pour in boiling water.

3stir until well blended and let cool.

4stir in egg, salt and pepper.

5blend in flourto make a fairly stiff dough.

6turn dough onto a well floured surface.

7Knead lightly.

8divide dough into 1/2.

9shape each 1/2 into a long thin roll about the size of a breadstick.

10dip knife into flour and cut into bite sized pieces.

11Bring salted water to boil in a large pot.

12add a few gnocchi to boiling water.

13as gnocchi rises to surface remove with a slotted spoon.

14repeat until all cooked.
