Quick Orange Rolls

  • 1 whole Orange, Zest And Juice
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 2 cans (16.3 Oz. Size) Flaky Layers Refrigerated Biscuits

    Preheat oven to 350°F and place top rack of oven in the center position.

    In a small saucepan combine the orange zest, orange juice, sugar and butter. Bring to a boil and allow to boil for 1 to 2 minutes. Turn off heat.

    Meanwhile, spray a Bundt/tube pan with nonstick spray. Open cans of biscuits. Place biscuits in pan standing on their sides, pointing outward (should look like a sun when pan is full). You may need to cut the last biscuit or two into halves or quarters and tuck into gaps to make everything fit.

    Pour hot syrup over biscuit dough. Place in oven and bake approximately 30 minutes, until top is golden brown, syrup is bubbling, and biscuits are baked through. Immediately (and carefully) invert onto a serving plate while hot. Rolls are best served warm!
