  • 1/2 of a medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 of a medium onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 can (10 fl oz/284mL) chicken broth
  • 1 can (19 fl oz/ 540 mL) Primo Kidney Beans, drained, rinsed
  • 1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
  • 2 cups Minute Rice Brand Rice, uncooked

Directions

    Cook and stir green pepper and onion in butter in large skillet on medium heat until crisp-tender.

    Add broth, beans and hot pepper sauce; stir.

    Bring to boil.

    Stir in rice; cover.

    Remove from heat.

    Let stand 5 min.

    Fluff with fork.
