Quick Shrimp Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimps
  • salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 onions medium thinely sliced
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 1 tomato small chopped finely
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon masala Curry
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garam Masala

Directions

    Heat oil in a pan.Add cumin seeds,add sliced onions.

    Fry til golden brown,add curry leaves and then add in the ginger garlic paste and fry well.

    Add the chopped tomatoes and saute well.

    Add the spices,pour in the coconut milk and saute for 2 mins.

    Wait till the mixture oozes oil.

    Dump in the shrimps and saute well in both sides.

    Add a cup of water and cover it and cook for 15 mins and your soft delicious shrimp is ready to eat.(Do not overcook).

    Serve it with bread or rice.
