Ingredients

  • 3 stalks celery, diced
  • 12 peppers, diced
  • 1 qt. lima beans (Great Northern)
  • 6 carrots, sliced
  • 2 heads cauliflower
  • 1 qt. string beans
  • small onions
  • tiny sweet pickles
  • 4 to 5 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 pt. water
  • 1/3 c. salt
  • 2 tsp. turmeric

Directions

    Make a juice of sugar, vinegar, water. salt and turmeric.

    Pour over vegetables.

    Add sweet pickles and mix well.

    Pour into jars. Heat in canner for 10 to 15 minutes to seal.

    You can double the juice recipe if you would like.
