Ingredients

  • 3/4 to 1 c. macaroni, prepared and set aside
  • olive oil (enough to cover bottom of skillet)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can Healthy Request mushrooms soup
  • 1/2 can evaporated milk
  • 1/2 can water
  • 1/2 block Velveeta cheese (small size)
  • 1 can peas
  • 2 cans water packed tuna

Directions

    Heat olive oil.

    Saute onion, garlic and celery.

    Add seasoning, mushroom soup, milk and water.

    Add cheese (cut up). Add tuna.

    Layer peas in bottom of casserole pan.

    Dot with butter.

    Layer drained macaroni.

    Pour cheese-tuna mixture over macaroni.

    Additional strips of cheese can be put on top.

    Heat in oven for about 15 to 20 minutes.
