  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 (15 1/4 oz.) pineapple slices
  • maraschino cherries
  • 1/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 yellow cake mix

    Melt butter in a 10 1/2-inch iron skillet.

    Combine brown sugar and cinnamon.

    Sprinkle over butter.

    Arrange pineapple over sugar mixture.

    Place a cherry in center of pineapple slices. Sprinkle with pecans.

    Prepare cake mix according to package directions.

    Pour batter over fruit and bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until tests done.
