Quickie Cinnamon Rolls

- 1/4 c. warm water (not hot)
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1/3 c. lukewarm milk
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. Crisco
- 1 egg
- 2 to 2 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
Directions

1Soak yeast in warm water 5 minutes.

2Pour milk over sugar and salt in bowl; stir to dissolve.

3Beat in Crisco, egg, 1 cup flour and softened yeast.

4Cover and let rise in warm place 15 minutes. Stir in remaining flour to make soft dough.

5Turn out on lightly floured board.

6Knead lightly.
