  • 1 qt. fruit, sliced (peaches or apples)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • vanilla flavoring

Directions

    Prepare fruit; place in baking dish.

    Beat egg, sugar and cornstarch; mix thoroughly.

    Add milk and vanilla; pour over fruit.

    Make batter of 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 stick softened margarine.

    Sprinkle over cobbler.

    Bake at 375° until brown on top.
