- 4 c. biscuit mix
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Heat deep fat to 375°.

2Mix all ingredients in large bowl. Beat vigorously 25 to 30 strokes.

3Turn dough onto floured counter and knead about 10 times.

4Roll out about 3/8-inch thick.

5Cut with floured doughnut cutter and place in hot fat.

6Fry until golden brown, one or two minutes per side.

7Remove from fat and drain on absorbent paper.

8Sprinkle with powdered sugar, cinnamon and sugar or glaze with a thin chocolate icing.

9Store in a large canister.
