- 1 cup quinoa
- 1 cup water
- 1 12 cups Red River hot cereal
- 2 cups oatmeal
- 14 cup sunflower seeds
- 14 cup pumpkin seeds
- 14 cup nuts
- 12 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 14 cup butter, melted
- 1 -2 teaspoon almond extract
Directions

1Preheat oven to 275F.

2Microwave quinoa in 1 cup water for 5 minutes.

3Careful it does not boil over.

4Combine dry ingredients.

5Add quinoa and any remaining water to the dry ingredients.

6Combine butter with honey and almond extract and add to dry mixture.

7Spread evenly on parchment lined baking sheet.

8Bake for 1/2 hour to an hour until lightly golden.

9Stir every 15 minutes while baking.

10Remove from oven and allow to cool.

11Store in air tight container.

12Serve with yogurt and fresh or dried fruit.
