- 1 lb. rabbit
- 1/2 lb. carrots, sliced
- 1 lb. potatoes, quartered
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 4 lb. boneless venison
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- pepper
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
- 2 chopped onions
- 2 chopped peppers
- 1 tsp. rosemary
Directions

1Cut meat in chunks.

2Mix flour with salt and pepper and roll meat in it, then brown in the shortening.

3Add garlic, tomatoes, onions, peppers and rosemary.

4Add water, if necessary, to bring liquid halfway up the meat.

5Cover and simmer for 2 hours, or until tender, stirring occasionally.
