  • 2 rabbits, cleaned and cut up
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 bay leaves
  • flour
  • cooking oil

    Salt and pepper rabbit; cover with flour.

    Put in heavy skillet in the cooking oil.

    Sear on both sides.

    Place in stew pot.

    Cover with hot water.
