- 3/4 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- green and red food coloring
- 2 sq. melted chocolate, mixed with 1/4 tsp. soda (may be substituted for any layer)
Directions

1Blend butter and sugar; add eggs and milk.

2Sift flour and baking powder and blend with liquid ingredients.

3Add vanilla. Divide batter into 3 parts.

4To part one, add green food coloring. Pour into loaf pan.

5To part two, add red food coloring, then pour this carefully over first layer.

6Pour last layer as is carefully over pink layer.

7Bake at 375° for 1 hour.
