  • 6 to 7 drops (any color) food coloring

    In small saucepan, combine all ingredients.

    Cook over medium heat until thickened and smooth, stirring constantly, with wire whisk.

    Cool finger paints to room temperature, about 10 minutes. Stir before painting.

    Makes 1/2 cup.
