Rainbow Salad

Ingredients

  • Jello - 1 pkg. each flavor: lemon, lime and cherry
  • 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 15 large marshmallows, cut in pieces
  • 1 cup whipping cream (1 cup after whipping) or 1 cup of Cool -Whip may be substituted
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/2 cup sugar (if using whipping cream; omit sugar if using Cool Whip)

Directions

    Use glass Pyrex dish, approximately 9 x 13 inch.

    Set lime Jello first per pkg. instructions.

    Put 2 cups hot water in lemon Jello, add marshmallows, cream cheese and sugar (if using whipping cream).

    When cool add pineapple and whipped cream.

    When partially set, pour mixture on top of lime Jello.

    When this mixture has set, pour partially set cherry Jello on top.

    Serve when fully set.
