  • 1 pkg. raisins
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 heaping tsp. baking soda
  • 4 c. flour

Directions

    Boil raisins in cold water for 5 minutes (enough to cover raisins).

    Mix rest of ingredients together until smooth.

    Add raisins (drained).

    Mix until smooth.

    Put in greased Bundt pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
