  • 2 c. raisins
  • 2/3 c. lard
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. flour

Directions

    Cook raisins in water slowly 15 minutes.

    Combine all ingredients.

    Bake in oven at 325° about 45 minutes.
