  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup Sun-Maid Raisins
  • 1 egg white stiffly beaten
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon butter

Directions

    Add coconut, crumbs and butter to hot milk, beat egg yolk, mix with sugar, salt and raisins. Add to milk. Cool and fold in egg white. Pour into a greased baking dish and bake in moderate 350 degree oven until firm, about 15 minutes.

    Mix sugar and corn starch and salt, add water gradually, stirring constantly, boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat, add butter and vanilla; stir to mix pour over pudding.
