- 1 c. packed raisins
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 egg whites or 1 whole egg
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 10 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Barely cover raisins with water and 1/4 cup sugar in saucepan. Bring to a boil.

2Reduce heat and cover.

3Cook until raisins are plump and tender.

4In separate bowl, mix flour and 1/3 cup sugar. Add 1/2 cup milk.

5Mix well.

6Gradually add remaining milk.

7Add egg whites and mix.

8Slowly add mix to raisins while they are still cooking.

9Cook until thick.

10Remove from heat and add butter.

11Allow to cool a little, then add vanilla.

12Pour into baked pie crust.
