- 24 oz. (1 1/2 lb.) raisins
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 6 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 can evaporated milk
Directions

1Cook raisins with just enough water to cover them.

2Cook until water is almost cooked out of them, then add milk and bring to a boil.

3Mix sugar and cornstarch together.

4Pour into boiling raisins.

5Cook until desired thickness, or if needed add more cornstarch.

6Pour into pie shells and put top crust on it.

7Spread melted butter over crust and sprinkle with brown sugar.

8Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until top crust is browned.

9Makes 2 pies.
