- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. sugar (may use 1/2 c. brown sugar)
- 1 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
Directions

1Mix flour, baking powder, salt and 2/3 cup sugar.

2Add raisins and milk.

3Spread batter in buttered baking dish.

4Heat together water, butter and 1 cup brown sugar.

5Pour the syrup over the batter.

6Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
