Raisin Pudding

- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 c. milk
- 1 c. light cream
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 c. seedless raisins (plump raisins in water)
Directions

1Sift flour and salt in bowl. Work in eggs, one at a time. Beat in sugar.

2Gradually stir in milk, cream and vanilla.

3Batter will be very thin.

4Spread raisins on bottom of a buttered 11 x 18-inch baking pan.

5Pour the batter into pan slowly. Bake in preheated 450° oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 275° and bake 1 hour longer or until pudding is set and browned.

6Cool 20 minutes, then chill and cut in squares.
