- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/8 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. flaked coconut (optional)
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Lightly grease an 8-inch square pan. Combine flour and sugar.

3Using pastry blender or fork, cut in margarine until mixture resembles fine meal.

4Press into greased pan.

5Bake for 20 minutes, or just until edges are golden.
