Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 (1 lb.) can salmon
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 2/3 c. chopped green onions
  • 1/3 c. water or white wine
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin

Directions

    Combine butter, flour and milk to make sauce. Set aside. Combine the tomato paste, cream cheese, lemon juice and mayonnaise.

    Mix thoroughly.

    Add to sauce mixture and cook until cheese is melted.

    Add salmon. Soften gelatin in 1/4 cup water or white wine.

    Add to salmon mixture. Place in lightly greased mold and refrigerate.
