  • 4 1/2 c. flour (all-purpose)
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 2 c. buttermilk

Directions

    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.

    Dissolve yeast in warm water.

    Stir in buttermilk and salad oil.

    Add to dry ingredients.

    Dough can be kept in refrigerator for at least 1 week.

    Take out as needed.

    Roll out; cut with biscuit cutter and bake at 375° until done.
