- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 c. diced tomatoes
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1/3 c. picante sauce
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 6 to 8 flour tortillas, cut into strips
- 3 c. cooked chicken, cut up
- 3/4 c. grated cheese
Directions

1Saute onions and peppers in butter.

2Add tomatoes, soup, picante sauce and chili powder.

3Mix well.

4Line 9 x 13-inch baking dish with 1/2 tortilla strips.

5Top with 1/2 chicken. Spread 1/2 the vegetable mixture over the chicken.

6Repeat the layers and top with cheese.

7Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 35 minutes.

8Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
