- 4 slices Bacon
- 1/2 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Lawry's Seasoning Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 Tablespoon Milk
- 2 whole Chicken Breasts
- 2 Tablespoons To 4 Tablespoons Ranch Dressing
- 2 slices Mozzarella Cheese

1Let me start by saying, that these measurements are guesstimates.

2Im a dash-of-this, little-of-that kind of cook.

3First up, fry the bacon in a skillet on medium heat until crisp.

4Remove it to a stack of paper towels to drain once it is done, but DO NOT drain the pan!

5You are, however, allowed to turn the stove off.

6It will be a couple of minutes until you get back to it.

7Mix flour, garlic salt, pepper and Lawrys together.

8I put mine on a plate and mix with a fork.

9On another plate, whip the eggs and milk together.

10Put the chicken in a large plastic bag and pound it out with a meat tenderizer to about 1/2 inch thick so that it can cook through in the skillet.

11At this point, go ahead and turn the stove back to medium-high heat.

12If there isnt a layer of grease coating the bottom of the pan from the bacon, go ahead and add in a little vegetable oil.

13Put each chicken breast directly into the flour mixture.

14Flip it over a couple of times to make sure the whole thing has a layer of flour on it.

15Gently shake it off and dunk it in the egg mixture.

17Now, back into the flour.

18Make sure it has a good coating of flour, then send it to the skillet.

19IMPORTANT: Chicken must cook thoroughly!

20For me, this took about 4 minutes on the first side, then I flipped it over for about 3 minutes on the other side, but it all depends on how thick your chicken is.

21Remove the chicken to a paper towel to drain.

22Turn the broiler of your oven on the Low setting.

23Get out an over safe dish to assemble your masterpiece.

24I went with a grungy cookie sheet.

26First goes the chicken fried chicken.

27Next, slather a heaping tablespoon or two of Ranch dressing on each piece of chicken.

28Then, slap a couple of slices of bacon on top.

29Lastly, top it off with the mozzarella cheese slices.

30Place the whole thing in the oven for just a minute or two.

31You have to watch it; broilers can be tricky!

32When the cheese is melty looking and delicious, take it out and Voila!

34Variation: add a layer of freshly diced tomatoes under the cheese.
