- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 cup Coconut Flour
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 teaspoons Sugar
- 3/4 cups Shortening
- 1/4 cups Slightly Softened Butter Plus Extra For Your Skillet
- 1 cup Hot Water
Directions

1In a large bowl combine dry ingredients (flour through sugar), then cut in shortening and butter until mixture is crumbly. Pour the water in and knead the mixture. Make sure to work in the dough clinging to the sides.

2Roll dough into a large ball. Break the dough ball into 10 bits and roll each into a smaller ball. Flatten them out with a rolling pin or your hands, and place one at a time into a hot buttered skillet for a minute or two each side. Serve with dinner, or sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar for dessert!
