- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp. marjoram
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- cooked grits
- eggs
Directions

1Cook bacon; remove and crumble.

2Cook all other ingredients except grits and eggs.

3Bring to a boil and cook 10 minutes or until thickens.

4Break 2 eggs at a time in small bowl.

5Slip eggs into tomato mixture.

6Add crumbled bacon; cover and cook eggs about 4 to 6 minutes until yolks are set.

7Cook grits as directed on package.

8Serve grits in a soup or cereal bowl.

9Spoon egg and tomato mixture into center of grits.
