  • 4 medium all-purpose potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • water
  • 1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets Ranch or onion soup mix
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 slices bacon, crisp-cooked and crumbled or 2 Tbsp. bacon bits

    In a 3-quart saucepan, cover potatoes with water.

    Bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat to low and simmer 20 minutes or until potatoes are very tender; drain.

    Return potatoes to saucepan; mash.

    Stir in remaining ingredients.
