- 4 whole cloves
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 12 teaspoons salt
- 12 teaspoon bottled Kitchen Bouquet
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 bay leaf
- 18 teaspoon thyme
- 34 cup water
- 14 cup flour
Directions

1In slow-cooking pot, alternate beef and onions; stick cloves into 4 onions.

2Sprinkle with sugar and salt.

3Combine gravy sauce, vinegar, bay leaf, thyme, and water.

4Pour over meat.

5Cover and cook on low for 5-7 hours or until tender.

6Turn control to high.

7Dissolve flour in small amount of water.

9Cook on high for 15-20 minutes.
